About Cover-More Travel Insurance in Australia
This role is part of our Cover-More Travel Insurance team in Australia. Cover-More Travel Insurance is Australia's leading travel insurance and assistance provider and has protected Aussie travellers since 1986. Cover-More provides travel insurance through many well-known travel, airline, banking and retail brands and also direct to customers via We help safeguard travellers from the unexpected, and support them when medical, travel or security emergencies arise. We are here for our customers before, during and after they travel away from home, helping them feel safe, protected, and cared for every step of their journey.
What's the job?
Reporting to the CFO, you will deliver accurate financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting to support strategic decisions. In this role your duties will include, but not limited to:
* Assisting with managing operational finance functions embedded within our ANZ business
* Preparing, analysing and reporting on key performance drivers including monthly KPI reporting
* Constructing cost-benefit analyses, business cases and associated metrics for new projects and business opportunities
* Assisting with the budgeting and forecasting processes for the ANZ business
* Building appropriate budgeting and forecasting models for the overall region, by channel, partner and cost centre
* Supporting the business through consolidated analytics, insights, gap analysis and commentary for management reporting to support the delivery of business targets and initiatives
This is a 12-month max term contract based in our North Sydney office.
And what are we looking for?
* Bachelor's degree in accounting / finance (or relevant field) with CA/CPA certification
* Demonstrated experience in reporting and budgeting a full P&L along with strong financial modelling & analytical skills
* Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex financial aspects to non-financial stakeholders
* A proactive mindset with the ability to deliver actionable outcomes and work independently
* Advanced excel skills and intermediate-to-advanced PowerPoint skills
