Job Overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager covering services in Caister‑on‑Sea and Beccles on a part‑time contract (30 hours per week). A full UK driving licence is required due to having to drive between services. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone wanting to take the next step in their career and progress their development.
What You’ll Do
As an Assistant Service Manager you will report to the Service Manager, work alongside them to support a team of Support Workers and ensure the smooth running of the service.
Responsibilities
* Have strong communication skills with the people we support, colleagues and other stakeholders.
* Be confident to support with leading and managing a team.
* Be flexible, ensuring there is adequate support across the management team on site.
* Previous supervisory experience is desirable but not essential.
* Be IT literate.
* Support the Service Manager with agreed management tasks.
* Support the team with their development.
* Ensuring compliance across the team and service.
