Overview
As an Activities Worker you will deliver a range of appealing and engaging social/recreational activities, providing exciting opportunities for our residents. Organising outings and events, your creative flair and passion to provide variety and choice will really make a difference to the lives of people with a disability that we support.
Full-time role available. To be successful in this role previous activities worker experience is essential as you will be working with non-verbal, wheelchair users with complex needs. You must be a driver and flexible as there may be some possible weekend/evening shifts (with notice).
Responsibilities
* Deliver a range of engaging social/recreational activities for residents.
* Organise outings and events that provide variety and choice.
* Collaborate with care teams to support residents and their families.
Qualifications
* Have good interpersonal skills and ability to communicate effectively.
* Work flexibly and creatively with customers and their families.
* Ideally have personal care experience (not essential).
* Be able to work under pressure and as a team.
* Flexibility to work within rostered hours / prepared to participate in an on-call rota where required.

* We are currently under consultation proposing a change to the enhancement rates paid. If the proposal is accepted, from 1 December 2025 new enhancement rates of £1.00 per hour will only apply to night working (8pm Monday to 7am Friday) and weekend working (8pm Friday - 7am Monday). This does not apply to Sleep-ins.
