Company Overview
A well-established UK-based heavy engineering manufacturer in Dudley is seeking a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer to join its expanding engineering team.
Role & Responsibilities
* Carry out maintenance across a range of production equipment and site services within a heavy manufacturing environment.
* Complete planned maintenance and respond to breakdowns to minimise downtime.
* Diagnose and repair electrical faults using schematics and technical drawings.
* Undertake mechanical fault finding and repairs using engineering documentation.
* Support PLC diagnostics and assist with installation, commissioning, and equipment modifications.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
* Maintenance engineering experience within heavy engineering or manufacturing environments.
* Level 3 qualification in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
* PLC fault-finding experience.
* Strong hands‑on mechanical and electrical fault‑finding capability.
