Programme Manager, Business Intelligence & Consumer Insight Day rate: £650-900 per day Location: Reading, Hybrid Working Contract: 12 months, potential for renewals, outside IR35 Our client is a well-establishing business intelligence consultancy business, specialising in Consumer Insight and Customer Behaviour, working closely with major retailers to drive business growth through data-driven and business intelligence strategies. The Business Intelligence Team is seeking a Programme Manager with a passion for utilising data, analytics, and AI to address critical business challenges, resulting from continuing growth and extensive duplication in business intelligence and data silos throughout the business. The task for the Programme Manager is to streamline their storage, use, and provision of BI and data to enhance the product offering provided to retailers. They are looking for an experienced Programme Manager to join their team and lead the design and delivery of a series of future-proofed programmes over the next 12-18 months. As a Programme Manager, you will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge programmes that translate data into actionable insights for their retail sector clients. Responsibilities: - Design Future-Proofed Programmes: Develop innovative programmes to support the company's growth. - Solve Complex Business Problems: Focus as a Programme Manager on addressing key challenges and improving decision-making processes within the business, which can then pass on business value to their client. - Help the business to better utilise data assets and solutions: Identify the best data assets and solutions to address business questions effectively. - Analyse Data and Extract Insights: Create better mechanisms for teams to interpret data to uncover valuable insights and address business needs. - Develop AI Prompts: Pilot and deliver projects aimed at introducing AI prompts to guide data interpretation and provide actionable recommendations for clients. - Engage with Stakeholders: Collaborate with internal and client stakeholders to ensure programme delivery aligns with internal business goals and client expectations. Required Profile: - Insights Professional: Ideally experience as a Project Manager or Programme Manager in CPG/Retail insights, with a strong foundation in business intelligence and the use of data analysis. - Familiarity with Data Assets and Solutions: Proficient in delivering structures and mechanisms to enable teams to provide reports and visualisations using data tools. - Strong Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to use data creatively to solve internal business and client challenges. - Technology Enthusiast: Willingness to explore new technologies and solutions, whilst at the same time being able to remain relevant and connected to the business. Must be able to translate technology and data solutions into tangible concepts for non-technical decision makers. - Stakeholder Management: Ability to build credibility and act as a trusted advisor with stakeholders and clients. Must be capable as a Programme Manager of engaging at the highest level with stakeholders, strategic partners, third party technology providers, and senior executives, including working with the CEO, the senior leadership team, and other business investors. - Client-Focused: Track record of understanding client needs and exceeding expectations. - Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication to convey complex concepts clearly. Preferred Qualifications: - MSP, PRINCE, or Agile qualifications would be an advantage.
