Para Group are currently looking for aregistered home manager,with in a residential children's and young persons 6-bed Learning Disabilities home -Derby
We are here to make a difference to young peoples lives we understand that a childs emotional development can depend upon their age, ability, and experience., between the age of 8 and 17 years, who require a Registered manager to place the individual first, meet the challenge, keep positive, provide individualised care, obtain successful outcomes, and support children and young people for as long as required.

The requirements for role of Registered manager are:
* Registered Managers must achieve or hold the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership Related to Children and Young People
* Experience with Residential childcare (3 years minimum)
* Knowledge with Children Act 1989, Childrens Home Regulations 2015, Care Standards Act 2000, Safeguarding childrens procedures, Direct work skills, Management Systems and Childrens rights.
* Leadership Skills
* Management of budgets and project manage.
* Be competent in managing and creating staff rotas.
* Need to be committed in achieving the best outcome for children, flexible in achieving objectives.
* To be willing to continuing personal development and keeping yourself current with latest regulations, policies and procedures.
Special Conditions
* The post is subject to a six-month probationary period.
* The successful candidate will need to be approved by the appropriate statutory body. This will require full Ofsted registration in accordance with their respective conditions and timescales.
* Full UK driving licence.
