Maintenance Electrician (Historic / Heritage Buildings) Central London Full-time | 35 hours per week | Monday–Friday Up to £43,000 + excellent benefits Overview We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join a Building Services team responsible for a large, historic, multi-use property. The role involves a mix of electrical installation, planned maintenance, reactive repairs, and technical support for events within a heritage environment. Key Responsibilities Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, equipment, fixtures, and lighting. Work on both single-phase and three-phase systems for motors, pumps, fans, and associated control gear. Inspect, test, and diagnose electrical faults to ensure compliance with BS 7671 and relevant regulations. Maintain emergency lighting, generators, and electrical safety logs. Provide reactive maintenance and support for building operations and events, including temporary power setups. Assist with surveys, PPM schedules, and CAFM system updates. Liaise with contractors and provide technical advice when required. Support other maintenance tasks where reasonable.
