QC Operative - Rochester
£13.50 per hour
Full-Time 6:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Friday

Are you quality-focused, hardworking, and looking for a role where you can make a real impact? Our client in Rochester is seeking a QC Operative to join their busy team, ensuring all work meets strict quality standards and customer deadlines.
The Role
As a QC Operative, you will be responsible for inspecting completed work, maintaining quality controls, and supporting the smooth flow of vehicles through the final stages of production. This is a hands-on role where accuracy, attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently are key.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect completed work to manufacturer and customer guidelines
* Ensure all Jobcard activities are carried out and closed correctly
* Work efficiently to meet customer deadlines and internal lead times
* Report delays or issues that may impact schedules
* Maintain high-quality standards throughout the final repair process
* Record pass/fail outcomes with clear reasons to support records
* Ensure correct PPE is worn and report any H&S concerns promptly
* Take pictures in line with customer requirements
* Complete final QC checks before vehicles leave site
* Attend training to stay up to date with new processes and products
* Keep all working areas clean, organised, and free of hazards
* Prepare basic reports when needed
* Perform ad-hoc duties as required
Person Requirements
Must drive with own vehicle due to location
Full UK driving licence
Previous experience in a quality control role is beneficial, but not essential - full training is provided
Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
Ability to work to deadlines in a fast-paced environment
