Set within the breathtaking landscapes of the Scottish Borders, our client is a 5-star estate that offers a 2 AA Rosette restaurant and a diverse portfolio of dining experiences. They are now seeking a Head Chef to lead a brigade of 35 chefs/KPs and shape the culinary identity of this renowned estate, with full creative autonomy.

1. £45,000 per annum plus up to £400 per month in service charge

Responsibilities as the Head Chef…
5. Overseeing all kitchens across the estate’s restaurants, bars and events, ensuring consistency and excellence
6. Designing and delivering seasonal, produce-led menus with a clear culinary identity
7. Leading, motivating and developing a team of around 35, fostering high standards and a positive culture
8. Collaborating with senior management to enhance the guest experience and support commercial goals
You’ll be a great fit if you:
9. Have proven experience within 5-star hotels or luxury hospitality
10. Are a strong, hands-on leader who can inspire, coach and hold standards
11. Bring multi-outlet experience and thrive in a busy, quality-driven environment
12. Are confident in taking full ownership of menu direction and innovation
13. Are either an accomplished Head Chef or a Senior Sous Chef ready to step up
