We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in providing exceptional dining experiences. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive outstanding service from the moment they arrive until their departure. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality.
Duties
* Greet and seat guests in a friendly and professional manner.
* Take accurate food and drink orders, ensuring all dietary requirements are noted.
* Deliver food and beverages promptly while ensuring presentation meets our standards.
* Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
* Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their meal, addressing any concerns promptly.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area, including tables and utensils.
* Assist with food preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service of meals.
* Handle cash and process payments accurately using basic maths skills.
Requirements
* Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential.
* Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
* Excellent guest services skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
* Basic knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is advantageous.
* Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* A proactive attitude towards upselling menu items to enhance guest satisfaction.
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.
