SEND Teacher – Newcastle upon Tyne
Location: Newcastle upon Tyne
Pay: £150 – £207 per day (depending on experience)
Full-time | Monday to Friday | Term-time only
Are you a dedicated teacher with a passion for supporting young people with special educational needs? We're currently seeking a compassionate and skilledSEND Teacherto join a specialist provision in Newcastle that supports children and young people with a range of needs including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) difficulties.

The Role:
As an SEND Teacher, you will:
* Deliver tailored lessons that meet a range of learning needs
* Support students on EHCPs in both academic and emotional development
* Adapt resources to suit individual learning styles and abilities
* Work closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and the wider SEND team
* Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment where all students feel safe and supported
What We’re Looking For:
* QTS or QTLS (Essential)
* Experience working with SEND pupils, either in a mainstream or specialist setting
* Knowledge of differentiated teaching strategies for SEND
* Strong communication and behaviour management skills
* A calm, nurturing, and patient approach
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
