Senior Quantity Surveyor / Quantity Surveyor
We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to take responsibility for the commercial management of construction projects, both internally and for external clients. Reporting directly to the Commercial Manager, you will supervise junior members of the commercial team while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:

Promote and adhere to company health and safety standards and policies.

Ensure all commercial activities comply with internal procedures and industry regulations.

Manage, mentor, and delegate to junior team members.
*
Prepare project budgets and cost-to-complete forecasts.
*
Support procurement strategies and prepare subcontractor documentation, including bills of quantities.
*
Review contract conditions, negotiate amendments, and assist in finalising subcontracts.
*
Procure subcontractors and manage tendering processes.
*
Conduct risk, value, and cost control analysis across a range of projects.
*
Monitor project progress, analyse outcomes, and produce detailed reports.
*
Manage variations, value completed works, and agree on final accounts with clients.

Approve subcontract payments and provide commercial guidance to site teams.
*
Support the development of company processes and procedures where applicable.
*
Stay informed on different forms of building contracts and provide input into contractual claims when necessary.
