We are seeking dedicated and nurturing Level 3 Teaching Assistants to support Nursery and Primary schools across the Llanelli area. This role is perfect for someone who understands the importance of early learning, emotional development, and creating a positive foundation for every child to succeed. Willingess to travel a minimum of 30 minutes for work is essential.

About the Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting children aged 3–11, helping them develop academically, socially, and emotionally.
Your duties may include:
* Supporting teaching and learning in Nursery, Foundation Phase, Key Stage 1 & 2
* Delivering phonics, early literacy, and numeracy interventions
* Providing 1:1 or small group support for pupils with Additional Learning Needs (ALN)
* Supporting children’s speech, language, and social development
* Encouraging independence, confidence, and positive behaviour
* Assisting with classroom preparation, resources, and daily routines
* Supporting play-based and child-led learning in early years settings
* Working closely with teachers to monitor progress and pupil wellbeing

Requirements
To be considered, you should have:
* A Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
* Experience working with Nursery or Primary-aged children
* A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Experience supporting children with ALN/SEN (desirable)
* Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC) (or willingness to register)
* An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)
Welsh language skills are highly desirable but not essential.
