We are the 3rd largest asphalt laying contractor in the UK and build a wide range of roads from our Strategic Road Network (Motorways and A Roads) to Local Council roads. We are looking for a dynamic and engaged individual to join our Operations Team in the South West of England. You will be training to be a Construction Site Supervisor, specialising is Road Surfacing, learning to manage the overall operation on a specific operational site. You will learn to be responsible for H&S, environmental impact, quality, costs and work program. No day is ever the same as you problem solve to meet the individual challenges of each day and site. Structured Learning Alongside your role, you'll study part-time with a recognised training provider. Your learning will be directly linked to your day-to-day responsibilities, helping you apply theory in practice and build a strong foundation for your future career. What You'll Be Doing As an Apprentice Site Manager, you'll support the operational team in achieving performance objectives and continuous improvement. Key areas of development include: Health & Safety: Support risk assessments, COSHH, and safe working practices. Promote high standards of safety behaviour.
