Network Engineer – Low Latency Infrastructure - £115,000
A leading global investment manager is looking to hire a Network Engineer to join its Platform Engineering team, supporting the high-performance infrastructure that powers trading and research systems.
This is a hands‑on role focused on designing and operating data centre and cloud network infrastructure, working with modern automation and software‑driven networking practices.
Responsibilities
* Design and operate scalable network infrastructure across data centres and cloud
* Deliver Layer 2/3 architectures including BGP, OSPF, EVPN and VXLAN
* Automate network operations using Python, Ansible and Terraform
* Troubleshoot performance issues using packet analysis tools
Requirements
* Strong experience with Arista or Cisco networking platforms
* Expertise in BGP, OSPF and data centre networking
* Experience with Palo Alto or similar firewalls
* Strong troubleshooting and packet analysis skills
