About The Role
Practice Plus Group are going through an exciting period of growth for their private healthcare services and this brand-new role has been developed as a result of it. As our Partnerships Relationship Manager your focus will be developing relationships and growing commercial opportunities with private medical insurer (PMI) partners. You will provide day-to-day account management to a range of PMI partners and ensure the smooth running of the private medical insurance service.
What you'll be doing
* Set up and maintain insurer CCSD code mapping and related processes.
* Oversee insurer pricing tariffs within our systems to meet contractual obligations.
* Handle commercial terms, pricing, service level agreements and renewal discussions.
* Design and optimize insurer billing processes via Healthcode, serving as the subject matter expert in resolving billing discrepancies to prevent aged debt.
* Support the collection of information for insurer tenders and assist in the rollout of insurer pathways and networks.
* Act as a liaison between hospital sites and insurers, including conducting national site visits as necessary.
* Collaborate and manage stakeholders within internal teams—including clinical, finance, legal and operations—to ensure smooth delivery of contracted services.

What we'll look for in you
You will have experience in managing private medical insurance clients, with:
* A good understanding of the relationship between private medical insurers and private hospitals
* Existing relationships with named contacts in Private Medical Insurance companies
* Confidence in communicating with a range of different stakeholders including consultants, hospital directors and finance team members
* Strong negotiation and influencing skills
* A proactive approach to account management
* Willingness and ability to work autonomously
A big advantage would be knowledge and understanding of Healthcode, from both a consultant recognition perspective and a billing perspective.
