Responsibilities:
7. Promoting the mental and emotional health of children, young people and families within the hospital and community through clinical interventions and effective decisions.
8. Preventing serious mental health problems in children and young people by early identification, good decision-making and signposting to other services where appropriate
9. Carry out mental health assessments, including self-harm risk assessments with children, young people and their families
10. Offer therapeutic treatment
11. Hold a caseload and case manage
12. Attend team meetings/case reviews each week
To be considered for the CAMHS Practitioner role ideally you will have:
13. 1-3 experience of working within a similar setting
14. Experience of working well individually or within a team
15. A Diploma/Degree in Social Work
16. Registration with SWE
