SEN Teacher - Secondary SEN School, Oldham Location: Oldham Full-time | Monday to Friday Daily Rate: £180 - £220 (depending on experience) Start Date: As soon as possible Are you a passionate and experienced SEN Teacher looking for a rewarding new role? We are seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teacher to join a fantastic Secondary SEN School in Oldham, supporting pupils with complex learning difficulties and additional needs. The Role: As an SEN Teacher, you will: Plan and deliver creative, differentiated lessons that meet the individual needs of pupils with complex and profound learning difficulties (PMLD/SLD).
Work closely with a dedicated team of Teaching Assistants, therapists, and senior staff to provide a holistic and nurturing learning environment. Use a range of communication methods (e.g. PECs, Makaton, sensory strategies) to engage and support pupils effectively.
Assess, record, and celebrate pupils' progress in both academic and personal development. Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and positive behaviour at all times. The Ideal Candidate: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) - essential.
