Job Title: Consultant Social Worker - Family Safeguarding Team

Salary Range: Between £36,234 and £39,728 per annum depending on experience (this includes Market Forces payment)
Newly qualified social workers will start from £32,672 per annum (including Market Forces payment)

What You Will Do:
* Conduct comprehensive assessments of children and families to develop bespoke plans using cutting‑edge practices.
* Deliver high‑quality social work services, including preparing and presenting welfare reports for conferences and court proceedings.
* Leverage knowledge of childcare legislation to present care plans effectively to conferences and reviews.
* Collaborate with families to achieve the best outcomes, embracing a proactive and supportive team player role.
* Engage in continuous learning and development through regular supervision and training opportunities.
About You:
To be successful, you must hold a degree or equivalent in social work and current Social Work England registration. Substantial frontline experience with Social Services is essential, along with a passion for working closely with families to secure positive outcomes. You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and a strong understanding of the complexities involved in social work practice.
