Job Description
Overview of the role:
* This role involves supporting the delivery of customer solutions for vehicle production line testing, working directly with customers and collaborating closely with development teams, suppliers, and engineering departments.
Detailed Activities:
* Analyzing customer requirements to derive technical solutions.
* Developing accurate estimates for proposed solutions.
* Designing and developing system and sub-system components.
* Debugging legacy code to resolve functional or reliability issues.
* Participating in technical reviews and adhering to Bosch Quality Assurance processes.
* Working on products including VCATS Server (databases, web interfaces, REST, Web Client, MQ), VCATS GRADE-X Eclipse IDE, and vehicle protocols.
Qualifications
Essential skills and experience:
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical/Electronic or Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
* Proven experience in all stages of software development lifecycle.
* Strong skills in software design, specifications, and API documentation.
* Experience developing new functionalities from requirements.
* Effective prioritization and organization skills, with regular status reporting.
* Team-oriented with collaboration experience.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Java SE, Eclipse PDE, C++/C#, RESTful web services, Jenkins, Maven, JUnit, Docker, and authentication protocols.
* Experience with version control systems like Git, SVN, or Bitbucket.
Desirable skills:
* Experience with unit testing frameworks, build environments, and additional skillsets like C++, WPF, Visual Studio, Windows development, XML, JavaScript, AngularJS, REACT, ASP.NET MVC, SSL, HTML5, SQL, WiX, Python, Linux.
Education
* Bachelor's or Master's degree in relevant disciplines.
* Minimum 2 years of automotive industry experience.
