Marketing & Communications Manager
Location: Near Great Yarmouth / Lowestoft
Salary: From £12.50-£20 per hour (depending on experience and performance)
Hours: Flexible days and hours
About the Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic and organised Marketing & Communications Manager to lead our member communications and help grow our community.
This role focuses on email marketing, member engagement, event promotion, and building excitement around our classes, camps, competitions and events. You will play a key role in ensuring our programmes are well attended, well marketed, and deliver a great member experience.
You must be based near Great Yarmouth or Lowestoft to work closely with our team.
Key Responsibilities
* Plan and send engaging email marketing campaigns to members
* Promote and help fill classes, holiday camps, competitions and events
* Manage and grow engagement within our Discord community
* Build excitement around upcoming events and club activities
* Work closely with our designers, videographer and marketing team to deliver high-quality campaigns
* Support internal and external marketing across Discord, Instagram, TikTok and YouTube
* Monitor engagement, bookings, trials and event success
* Support partnerships with schools, local businesses and community events to increase local awareness
* Help ensure members and parents feel informed, engaged and valued
What We're Looking For
* Experience in marketing, communications or community management
* Strong written communication skills
* Confident using email marketing platforms
* Experience with social media platforms
* Basic graphic design skills (e.g. Canva) would be an advantage
* Experience in gymnastics, sport, or working within a club environment is highly desirable
* Understanding of holiday camps, half-term events and sports competitions
* Confident communicating with parents and families
* Organised, proactive and community-focused
