Job Description
Reporting:
3. Preparing the monthly consolidated management accounts including profit and loss, cash flow and balance sheet reports and reconciliations.
4. Supporting in the preparation of the weekly cash flow forecast
5. Preparation of departmental cost analysis reports.
6. Assisting with the preparation of year-end accounts and statutory accounts.
7. Responding to financial enquiries by gathering and interpreting data.
8. Any other ad hoc reporting or analytical requirements
Transactional Management:
9. Manage the process for raising sales invoices to ensure appropriate revenue recognition and reconciling CRM and Finance system for revenue. Manage the day to day transactional process, bank reconciliations, AP/AR.
10. Process monthly payroll and calculate sales commission payments.
11. Working with the Sales team on credit control, providing details of outstanding debts.
Process & Systems:
12. Drive process and systems improvements and help create an environment of continuous improvement, proactively evolving to the Company's needs.
13. Support the Financial Director in the planning and implementation of a financial tech stack that enables improved efficiency in reporting requirement throughout the business
The Successful Applicant
A successful Financial Accountant (Temp cover) should have:
14. A recognised qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
15. Proficiency in financial systems and accounting software.
16. Strong analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
17. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
18. Knowledge of current financial regulations and standards.
19. Experience in the Technology & Telecoms industry is a plus.
