Our Client
They work with a wide range of national and international clients, all on retainers. The agency recently moved into a spacious and modern office conversion of a historical building. They have a great culture they’re keen to maintain as they grow. The team works 5 days per week in their Chester office.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Strategy, you’ll collaborate closely with client service and creative teams to deliver strategic projects across the agency’s client base. Your responsibilities include helping clients identify growth opportunities, shape marketing strategies, and define brand positioning. You will conduct research, audience analysis, and market scans to inform branding and marketing strategies, shaping customer journeys and campaign planning. Participation in client workshops and presenting insights in a clear, compelling manner is essential. Additionally, you will work with the business development team to research prospective clients and industries, providing insights, identifying trends, and uncovering growth opportunities.
You
You should be a strategic thinker with a strong research instinct and natural curiosity, with at least 3 years’ experience in a strategic role. Agency experience is preferred but not essential; candidates from account management or marketing backgrounds who are eager to move into a strategic role and can articulate their strategic thinking are also welcome. You should have a solid understanding of brand, marketing, and communications strategy, with the ability to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities. Experience within B2B sectors or brands with complex products or sales cycles is desirable.
