Are you a driven and commercially minded sales professional looking to make a real impact? We’re hiring a Business Development Manager to join our dynamic sales team, covering the West Midlands region.
As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibility will be to maximise the sales of our full product range, achieving and exceeding budgeted targets. You’ll play a vital role in identifying and converting both core and technical product opportunities, working closely with existing stockists to increase volumes. You will also develop a strong network of end users, enhancing our market presence and strengthening relationships with Merchants and Distributors in your territory.

Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Develop new and maintain existing, long-term business relationships with end users (including Main Contractors, House Builders and Developers, Sub-contractors such as Ground Workers, Bricklayers, Plasterers and Screeders, Roofing Contractors, etc.)
2. Work closely with existing customer base of Distributors and Key Merchants to ensure growth of all product groups and secure margin growth
3. Create and maintain a Journey Plan for your designated Sales Area
4. Use the Company CRM system (PSA) to record daily activities and generate quotes for customers
5. Collaborate with the Specification Manager to maintain a project pipeline for your sales area
6. Hold monthly meetings with the Specification Manager to discuss projects and customer targets
7. Coordinate with the Sales Support Executive to ensure customers have current POS and Literature
8. Achieve company performance standards such as call rates and reporting
9. Attend all Unilin UK & Regional Sales Meetings
10. Present the current Unilin Part L CPD as per CCPI Competency Training Matrix
