Job Advert Hospital Director Rowley Hospital & Beacon Park Hospital, Stafford We have an exciting and rare opportunity for a Hospital Director to join the teams at Rowley Hospital and Beacon Park Hospital, both in Stafford. In addition to being the CQC Registered Manager for the sites, you will hold full P&L responsibility; provide leadership and strategic direction to the hospitals which includes leading and delivering local business development activities. You will also join the North cluster and work with peers from across the cluster to develop initiatives to improve our collective performance. This will require the successful applicant to establish and maintain diverse relationships working with consultants, the NHS and other external bodies, building strong links with both internal and external stakeholders. To be suitable for this role, you will need to evidence your: An excellent understanding of current health industry issues and relevant tertiary / post-graduate qualifications. Proven leadership, business development, strategic planning experience and risk management skills. Experience of inspiring and managing employees in a commercial context with strong business acumen. Experience of leading change in a commercial or health care environment. Excellent decision-making capabilities, people management skills, communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills including demonstrated experience in liaising with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders. Where you’ll be based Rowley Hall Hospital is one of Staffordshire's leading private hospitals located in a Georgian listed building in five acres of Rowley Park, only five minutes from the centre of Stafford. The hospital opened in 1987 and currently has 13 bedrooms, all with en suite facilities. Beacon Park opened in 2020 and is a purpose built day case facility also in Stafford. The hospitals operate a hub and spoke model. By investing in advanced medical technology, the hospital offers a wide range of treatments and services. Two fully equipped theatres with ultra clean air technology are particularly suitable for orthopaedic procedures such as arthroscopy, hip and knee replacement and spinal surgery. The hospital is rated ‘Good by the CQC, last inspected in 2023.
