Job Title\: Senior Quality Inspector – Receipt Inspection Location\: Barrow-in-Furness (Fulltime onsite) Salary: £37,091 shift allowance What you’ll be doing: Performing quality inspections in accordance with BAE Systems specifications and overseeing the auditing and documentation of procured parts received by the business You’ll understand the quality requirements, schedules, and priorities, and ensure the delivery of an inspection service aligned with these expectations Ensuring that high quality records are produced as an output of the production processes and inspections Manage the quality inspections of externally manufactured products, quality inspection requirements and document release of procured parts Raising defect notifications against non-conformances for incoming products Your skills and experience: Essential: Mechanical, Engineering, Quality or Manufacturing background Proficient with SAP Desirable: Previous QC Inspection experience Understanding of Quality Inspection techniques HNC level qualification or relevant experience in Trade background Benefits: As well as a competitive pension scheme, BAE Systems also offers employee share plans, an extensive range of flexible discounted health, wellbeing, and lifestyle benefits, including a green car scheme, private health plans and shopping discounts - you may also be eligible for an annual incentive.
