The Role
As Deputy Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Home Manager with the day-to-day running of the care home. You’ll lead by example, ensuring high standards of care, compliance, and team performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a compassionate and driven individual ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the overall management of the care home
2. Lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding care
3. Ensure compliance with CQC regulations and company policies
4. Support with recruitment, training, and development of staff
5. Build strong relationships with residents, families, and external professionals
6. Monitor care plans and ensure person-centred care is delivered
7. Step in as acting manager when required
What We’re Looking For
8. NVQ Level 3 or above in Health & Social Care (Level 5 desirable)
9. Proven experience in a supervisory or management role within a care setting
10. Strong leadership and communication skills
11. A genuine passion for elderly care
12. Knowledge of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures
13. Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
Greenacres in Banstead, Surrey is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 62 residents.
