The Role

As an Internal Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and developing strong relationships with our valued customers. Acting as a key support to our External Business Development Managers, you will liaise closely with the Order Processing Team and other departments to ensure a seamless customer experience. Your focus will be on delivering best-in-class service, supporting sales growth, and strengthening customer loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and nurture a portfolio of key client accounts, ensuring excellent service and satisfaction.
* Act as the primary internal point of contact for customer queries, updates, and issue resolution.
* Collaborate closely with the External Business Development Manager to identify and maximise growth opportunities.
* Support the Order Processing Team by ensuring orders are handled accurately and efficiently.
* Work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and technical departments to ensure smooth and timely delivery of client projects.
* Handle customer concerns proactively, maintaining a solutions-driven and customer-first attitude.
* Monitor account performance and provide regular reports and insights to the sales team.
* Assist in the preparation of quotes, tenders, and proposals when required.
* Champion a customer-centric culture throughout the business.

Requirements

* Minimum 3 years' experience in account management or sales, preferably within manufacturing, construction, or related industries.
* Proven ability to manage client relationships professionally and effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Highly organised with a keen eye for detail.
* Ability to work collaboratively across different teams.
* Proactive problem-solver with a positive, customer-first mindset.
* Experience working with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
