Lead Solution Architect - AWS Cloud Focused - Remote
Up to £100,000 p/a + performance related bonusses + bonus.
To apply for this role, candidates must either be Security Cleared or be eligible for Security Clearance up to 'SC' level. This role is remote with the occasional travel to London every couple of weeks to visit the client site.
~ A leading UK-based organisation is seeking a Lead Solution Architect to spearhead the design and delivery of complex, cloud-native platforms. This senior role is ideal for someone with at least 8 years’ experience architecting large-scale distributed systems, particularly on AWS.
The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in designing secure, scalable infrastructures using AWS, Kubernetes, Kafka, and Java-based microservices. You’ll be responsible for shaping technical strategy, leading architecture design, and mentoring teams across cloud transformation projects.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring architectural standards meet business and compliance requirements, optimising performance, and managing cloud costs. AWS certifications, experience with other cloud platforms (Azure or GCP), and a background in serverless technologies, compliance (e.g., Additionally, if you have used DevOps tools and are DevOps focussed, that would be a massive advantage.
