Support Worker
Prospect House is located in the heart of the Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire and provides a residential service supporting 9 people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or dementia.

2. Full time, 35 hours per week. Shifts will include 7:30 am to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Weekend and bank holiday working is required.

What you’ll be doing:
9. Providing proactive, flexible, positive and caring support to adults living in our service.
10. Enabling and supporting people to learn new skills towards living more independently.
11. Assisting and providing individuals with support for their emotional and practical needs.
12. Working effectively as part of a team and with a ‘can do’ attitude.
13. Undertaking training online and face to face where necessary.
14. Taking part in the chosen activities of the people we support.
15. Personal care.
16. Shift times 7:30 am to 2:30 pm and 2:30 pm to 9:30 pm.
Who you are:
17. The successful candidate will have the aptitude, desire, and commitment to work in social care with adults with a variety of needs.
18. Flexible with a ‘can do’ attitude.
19. Motivated and a team player.
20. Experience working in a social care setting supporting adults with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or dementia is preferred but not essential.
21. Drivers preferred.
