Position
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Medical Physics Section Manager - Bioengineering based at University Hospital Crosshouse.
What You Will Do
A very experienced clinical engineering technologist is required to manage a busy team at University Hospital Crosshouse. They will provide specialist technical support across a range of clinical services including theatres, ICU and Cardiology which is provided by the Medical Physics Department.
Knowledge, Training And/or Experience Required To Do The Job
A degree in an appropriate discipline, or equivalent qualifications, is essential, however alternative qualifications, complemented by an acceptable knowledge, training and experience profile, to meet the required person specification, will be considered. Additional technical, professional and managerial training and qualifications should have been completed and the post holder will be expected to be able to be working at Masters level. Completion of an IPEM approved training scheme leading to Registration in the Register for Clinical Technologists (RCT) is required at this level. Membership of IPEM, or equivalent institution, at an appropriate level, is desirable.

37 hours per week Monday‑Friday
UK Driving Licence/Car Ownership
A UK car licence/car ownership is essential to this role.
