The role We are currently seeking 1x Permanent position and 1x Fixed term contract until July 2026. This hybrid role is based at one of our Sussex offices (to be agreed with ASB Manager) at least 2 days a week. Southern Housing is seeking a dedicated Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to join our Anti-Social Behaviour team in Hastings. Reporting to the ASB Manager, you will play a key role in delivering an excellent service to residents affected by anti-social behaviour. In this pivotal role, you'll be at the forefront of addressing incidents of anti-social behaviour. As a ASB Officer you will be assessing situations of anti-social behaviour by managing a varied caseload and looking at the facts of each Case. This may include taking legal action and finding remedies where needed to protect and support residents. If you have thorough experience in Anti-Social Behaviour case management within social housing and excellent communication skills, this is your opportunity to make a real difference! Responsibilities include: Completing risk assessments and dynamically assess situations to tackle ASB and support complainants. Investigating reports of nuisance, harassment, and anti-social behaviour (and occasionally domestic abuse), and determine appropriate actions. Deciding on additional measures for evidence gathering, such as sound recording and CCTV. Maintaining high standards of case management and support teams through supervision. Keeping meticulous records of all actions, discussions, and decisions. What you'll need Knowledge of legislation relating to tenancy enforcement, ASB and domestic abuse. Thorough experience of ASB case management in a social housing environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, accurately, and effectively using various communication channels. Working as part of a team to deliver excellent service in an environment of challenging demand. Professional curiosity to identify residents with support needs. Able to manage their own resilience in a challenging operating environment. within this role you will cover the following patch area Worthing, Brighton & Hove, Crawley, Eastbourne, Bognor.
