Established over 50 years ago, this company supplies and maintains crawler cranes and heavy plant equipment for construction, civil engineering and infrastructure projects across the UK. They operate a modern fleet supported by an in-house transport and engineering team.
In this role you will inspect, service, maintain and repair crawler cranes and heavy plant equipment across the Manchester / Northwest region, carrying out planned maintenance and breakdown repairs to keep equipment safe, compliant and hire ready.
This role would suit a Crane Engineer or Heavy Plant Engineer with experience maintaining crawler cranes or lifting equipment, looking for a long-term role with strong overtime opportunities.
The Role:
* Inspect, service, maintain and repair crawler cranes and heavy plant equipment
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs
* Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
* Prepare equipment for hire, ensuring safety and compliance standards are met
* Liaise with operations and transport teams to support equipment movements and site requirements
The Person:
* Experience maintaining and servicing crawler cranes and/or heavy plant machinery
* NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or similar
* CPCS card
