FP&A Analyst – Alfreton - £42,000 - £45,000We are currently working on behalf of a successful, well respected manufacturing business based in Alfreton who are looking for a dynamic, part qualified FP&A Analyst to join their strong and passionate finance team.This is a newly created role will see you contributing to the achievement of the company objectives and help optimise and maintain accurate, competitive and profitable global pricing strategies. Conducting financial analysis to support with competitive pricing while maintaining profitability and evaluating costs. You will provide insightful, data driven recommendations to inform decision making.Reporting into the Head of FP&A your responsibilities will include the following:
1. Take ownership of collecting and maintaining accurate costing and pricing data to establish one source of the truth across the business.
2. Work closely with the wider business to ensure data accuracy and usability, including an understanding of various costs like duty, import, and freight.
3. Develop and evaluate seasonal pricing models to stay competitive and profitable and be comfortable discussing and making recommendations on RRP’s, mark-ups, wholesale price lists, and distributor pricing models.
