We are currently recruiting experienced Residential Support Workers to join a small, therapeutic children’s home supporting young people aged 11 - 17.

Young people who have come from trauma backgrounds, including: Family relationship breakdown, emotional and behavioural difficulties, complex need
*
A fully therapeutic environment with: Sensory and chill-out spaces, counselling rooms, music and arts area
This is a smaller provider, offering a close-knit team environment where staff feel valued and supported.
Shift Pattern
*
7:30am – 8:00pm
*
7:30am – 11:00pm + sleep-in until 7:30am
*
Full-time role (38–40 hours per week)
Pay
*
£12.50 per hour
The Role
You will be responsible for:
*
Supporting young people with daily routines and independence skills
*
Managing and responding to emotional and behavioural challenges
*
Building strong, therapeutic and trusting relationships
*
Encouraging engagement in music, creative activities and structured routines
*
Maintaining a safe, consistent and nurturing home environment
*
Recording daily logs and contributing to care planning
This role requires resilience, emotional intelligence and the ability to remain calm and consistent in challenging situations.
Essential Requirements
*
Minimum 1 year’s experience within a residential childcare setting
*
Aged 22 years or over
*
Full UK manual driving licence
*
Confident supporting young people with trauma backgrounds and behavioural challenges
*
Passionate about therapeutic care and making a lasting difference
