Business Support Co-ordinator required to join a leading Civil Engineering consultancy company based in Maidstone, Kent, on a full-time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Project Assistant or Office Assistant with a finance background to support the Managing Director and overall business operations.
Business Support Co-ordinator Job Overview
* Reporting to the Managing Director (and Senior management team).
* Assisting the engineering teams in the daily running of the business.
* Managing company accreditations and PQQs (including internal and external audits).
* Managing company policies and procedures.
* Business performance reporting to the Directors (for financial and business performance matters).
* Dealing with onboarding of new starters and exit of leavers.
* Supporting business development requirements.
* Handling general admin duties such as data entry, procurement, quoting, and collecting data for PQQ and accreditation purposes.
* Managing information flow for the annual Research & Development Tax Relief.
* Building and maintaining relationships with key external customers.
* Supporting marketing and PR activities as necessary.
* Booking hotels and travel arrangements.
* Performing any other business support duties as required.
Job Requirements
* Proficient in IT, including all Microsoft Office packages.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Forward-thinking, quick to learn, and adaptable to various situations.
* Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
* Basic understanding of business financials and accounting.
* Competence in business analysis and reporting.
* Outgoing personality with a proactive attitude.
* Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and suppliers.
* Must be able to drive and travel to other offices, sites, and customer locations.
* Marketing experience.
* Knowledge of the construction industry.
Salary & Benefits
* £28,000 - £32,000 depending on skills and experience.
