Base pay range
£34,719.00 to £36,248.00 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.
Responsibilities
* Work as part of a dedicated team across a cluster of homes within a short journey of each other.
* Provide support tailored to the young person’s needs, either one-to-one or two-to-one, on shift.
* Engage in daily home life activities such as driving children to and from school, appointments, and visits (a full UK manual driving licence is essential).
* Teach life skills (meal preparation, household chores) and plan engaging activities, outings, and holidays.
* Participate in induction and shadow shifts to learn the Pebbles Way and the therapeutic care model, with ongoing support from a manager and the Learning and Development team.
* Work full-time, averaging 56.4 hours per week, including sleep hours, across multiple locations in the cluster.
What We Offer
* Salary: starting £34,719 to £36,248 per annum, pro rata depending on experience.
* Rotas: full-time roles with a pattern of two days on (48 hours, including sleepover) and four days off; subject to change with advance notice.
* Total average weekly hours (including sleepovers): 56.4; rota aligned to home needs.
* 5.6 weeks annual leave per annum (pro-rata for part-time contracts).

Desirable qualities
* Up to 12 months of experience with children or young adults (more than 12 months may qualify for higher salary grades).
* Working toward or interest in SCQF Level 7 or Level 3 Diploma relevant to Residential care (funding may be available).
* Familiarity with Codes of Practice set by regulatory bodies.
* Existing PVG/DBS certificate.
