Solutions Manager
Our Supply Chain team are now looking for a Solutions Manager to play a pivotal role in shaping, designing, and optimising the end‑to‑end supply chain solutions that enable Harrods to operate at its very best. Joining a team at the heart of innovation and transformation, you'll help build future‑ready processes and systems that elevate efficiency, enhance customer experience, and support our ambitious growth plans.
About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for designing, shaping, and optimising our supply chain solutions and processes, working closely with the leadership team across Supply Chain & Distribution. You will lead the discovery and initiation phases of new projects—coordinating complex business requirements, defining solution design, and producing a comprehensive Project Initiation Document (PID) for handover to project management.
You'll partner cross‑functionally with Procurement, IT, Buying & Merchandising, Retail and more to develop innovative solutions that improve operational performance, reduce costs, and enhance resilience. You will also manage a Process Analyst, ensuring the accuracy, quality, and completeness of all documentation including as‑is/to‑be process flows, high‑level user stories and requirements.
In this role you will:
* Coordinate discovery activity and lead solution design for new supply chain projects.
* Gather and translate complex business requirements into clear, structured documentation.
* Shape and lead the initiation phase of projects, delivering robust PIDs to project managers.
* Work closely with internal teams and external third‑party suppliers or consultants to assess and implement best‑in‑class solutions.
* Identify and resolve operational problems, working across food, beverage, warehouse and wider supply chain functions.
* Oversee and quality‑assure all solution documentation produced by the Process Analyst.
* Support our transformation agenda, including new automation initiatives and modernisation of existing systems.
Our hybrid working policy allows colleagues to work from home for part of the week, with a minimum of three days on-site, depending on business needs. This role is hybrid, working 3 days in the office per week.

About You
You will be an analytically minded solutions specialist with the ability to navigate complex operational challenges and design effective, elegant solutions. With strong influencing skills, you are comfortable working across multiple teams and managing relationships with third‑party suppliers and consultants. You are confident gathering requirements, shaping projects from the ground up, and bringing clarity to ambiguity.
You will:
* Have strong experience designing and optimising supply chain processes and solutions.
* Bring hands‑on experience in discovery activity, solution shaping, and early‑stage project definition.
* Have experience working in warehouse, distribution, automation, or broader supply chain environments (industry background is flexible).
* Demonstrate the ability to partner with stakeholders across technical and non‑technical functions.
* Possess a business‑analyst mindset, with confidence in problem‑solving and process mapping.
* Ideally have experience working with automation technologies or SAP (desirable but not essential).
Be comfortable operating independently, seeking out information and identifying the right solutions for complex problems.
