Accounts Payable Clerk (Temporary – Ongoing) – Hybrid, Chesterfield
Are you looking to join a friendly, supportive finance team where you can really make an impact? We’re working with a successful Chesterfield-based business that’s looking to bring in an organised and proactive Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary ongoing basis to support their growing finance function.
The Role:In this hands-on AP role, you’ll be responsible for the smooth running of the purchase ledger and ensuring suppliers are paid accurately and on schedule. Your responsibilities will include:
* Processing a high volume of purchase invoices efficiently
* Matching, coding and entering invoices accurately into the system
* Completing regular supplier statement reconciliations
* Managing weekly payment runs and resolving invoice or supplier queries
* Assisting with month-end routines and reporting
* Liaising with teams across the business to keep information flowing and issues resolved
