Our client have been established over 40 years and are part of a 330m group. They are seen as a market leader in supplying GRP products to the construction and house-building sectors. Their product range includes, Dormer products, Chimney ranges and bay window roof ranges. They are now looking to recruit a further Area Sales Manager to look after and develop Scotland and the North of England down to Darlington and across to Lancashire/Cumbria on the west side. Ideally this person would reside in the NE or Lancashire. You will be taked with managing the regional and national house builder accounts together with the independent and national builders merchant business. You will plan your weekly activity and prepare monthly reports on activity as well as competitor activity and attend conferences and exhibitions as required. Your brief will also be to increase the merchant business in line with the house builder accounts and ensure a more even business spread. You will ideally have sold to merchants and house builders though personality is key and is as important that you are a true team player with that hunter mentality. Building product sales experience is essential though full product training is provided
