As a result of continued growth, my client is looking to strengthen the team further by the appointment of an ambitious and driven Purchasing Administrator. This is an opportunity with great potential for progression for an ambitious and talented Purchasing professional. The Purchasing Administrator supports the purchasing team by managing supplier and product records, contributing to purchasing projects and reporting to support effective decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage supplier data, ensuring accuracy and compliance with processes.
* Ensuring all systems are kept up to date with required information
* Assist with project-based work such as supplier onboarding, system/process improvements, and category reviews.
* Prepare regular and ad-hoc purchasing reports
* Manage supplier credit requests, ensuring prompt resolution for any issues
* Maintain accurate filing of purchasing and project documentation.
* Provide administration support for tenders, price lists, and supplier performance reviews.
* Support the Stock Control Manager on cross functional projects
* Support the rest of the Stock Control Team with administration tasks where required
Person Specification:
* Experience in purchasing or supply chain administration.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
* Advanced IT skills, particularly Excel and ERP systems.
* Excellent communication skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
* Proactive, flexible, and team-oriented approach.
