Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging French lessons to both primary and secondary students, taking into account their individual learning needs and abilities. Plan and prepare lesson materials, including worksheets, assignments, and assessments. Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes student participation and learning. Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their language development. Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans that meet the educational standards of the school. Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and academic performance. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians to provide updates on student progress and address any concerns. Requirements A bachelor's degree in French or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification. Proven experience teaching French to primary and/or secondary students. Strong knowledge of the French language, culture, and literature. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment. Proficiency in using educational technology and resources to enhance teaching and learning. Familiarity with the national curriculum and assessment frameworks.
