About The Role
Please note this role is a 6-month secondment.
As a Deputy Home Manager, you’ll ensure the delivery of clinical care that exceeds professional standards and complies with statutory, regulatory, and legal requirements. This includes providing specialist nursing support and advice, taking responsibility for resident care in the Home Manager’s absence, and supervising/coaching colleagues to deliver an empathetic, resident-focused service.
About You
HC-One seeks a Deputy Home Manager with a valid NMC Pin, knowledge of National Standards, and adherence to the NMC code of practice. Experience in person-centred care planning within a care home setting is essential. We value your positive energy, ability to mentor, manage time effectively, and maintain meaningful records. Your communication style should be considerate and kind, fostering a supportive environment for residents and colleagues alike.
You should prioritize kindness, which is central to our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Our staff recognize that residents are individuals with their own stories, and we aim to support them to lead fulfilling lives.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know the appropriate steps to take. Attendance at safeguarding training and the ability to seek advice and escalate concerns is required.
