Summary Of The Role
* Project Mechanical Technician for Offshore Services Projects
* £34,638 per annum basic, realistic OTE up to £80,000 per annum plus expenses
* Based at our Offshore Services office in Middlesbrough, UK with regular travel worldwide
Mammoet Offshore Services specialise in loadout and installation large and heavy structures in marine and offshore environments. The role of an offshore services project technician is to work as part of a team and support in safe and successful setup and execution of multi discipline projects involving ballasting systems, winches, hydraulic jacking, skidding, and lifting equipment on a wide range of projects in the UK and (majority) overseas. Our project sites range from mining projects in Northern Canada to working offshore in the Persian Gulf and onshore fabrication yards in the far east.
Our Project Mechanical Technicians usually come from a mechanical, hydraulic or electrical background and we will also consider applicants with relevant marine or industrial (e.g. rigging and lifting) experience who are willing to travel and work abroad and offshore. Past offshore experience is not strictly necessary and applicants should note this is not a rotation based role.
Preference will be given to applicants who have previous experience of working away from home for periods of time.
