Our client based in Buckingham are a leading supplier to the Automative Industry and they design and manufacture bespoke exterior lighting. They require a Waste Co-Ordinator, to join their busy Recycling onsite unit. The role is temporary ongoing with the opportunity to become permanent following a successful probationary period.
The hours of work are 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday. The hours of work are 07:00am to 16:00 pm, Monday to Thursday and Friday's 07:00 to 11:00am.
The hourly rate for the role will be £13.50 per hour and following a successful placement and upon a permanent offer this will rise to £14.30.
The main purpose of the role is to be, hands on with the recycling of revenue streams, process the intake and out take of materials (must be computer literate), general Administrative tasks, attention to detail in terms of Health & Safety procedures and excellent customer service.
Duties will include:
* Effective communication with Operations Manager, Operations Support teams and key stakeholders within the site
* Work efficiently to ensure all customer waste drop zones and bins are serviced and processed daily, and inspect areas at regular frequencies
* Effective communication with service delivery arranging efficient waste collections and exchanges
* Daily communication with customer providing updates and answering queries where necessary
* Ensuring general housekeeping is maintained across the site
* Ensure all waste streams are segregated and stored correctly after processing in accordance with site and Axil health & safety policies, Risk Assessments, Safe Systems of Work and any relevant policies and procedures.
* Working with the management team to provide solutions, continuous improvements, and innovations
* Working as part of the Integrated Operations team on site.
* Administrative tasks such as scanning waste documents, filling and providing information for reporting, sending and receiving emails.
* The ability to drive the forklift truck when required to complete tasks on site, is desirable, but a license is required for this
