Herschel Medical Centre is looking for a Patient Care Navigator to join our expanding team. A Patient Care Navigator is an enhanced role which encompasses receptionist and call handling skills with additional training to support our patients with providing them the most appropriate care and services. The right candidate will be committed, enthusiastic and highly motivated to provide a high quality of service to our patients.
Job Summary
* Signposting patients to internal and external services.
* Booking appropriate appointments with clinicians as per patient need.
* Handling patient queries via telephone and main reception.
* Competent handling of sensitive and confidential information via different work streams.
Knowledge and Experience
Essential
* Excellent communication skills
* Professional attitude
* Kind and caring approach
* Excellent IT skills
Desirable
* Previous experience of working in a GP Practice or NHS setting.
* Experience within a customer service role.
Full time or part time applications will be considered.

Pay: £12.25 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 37.5 per week
