Our client is seeking a Junior Personal Assistant to provide proactive and efficient secretarial support to a team of legal fee earners. This role is crucial in enabling legal professionals to focus on delivering outstanding client service by managing essential administrative and organisational tasks.
Key Responsibilities
* Support fee earners with billing, financial tasks, and general financial housekeeping
* Coordinate administrative processes in line with firm protocols and best practices
* Develop knowledge of matter management and contribute to risk awareness and compliance
* Follow firm-wide risk and compliance procedures, escalating issues appropriately and completing all mandatory training
* Assist with business development support and foster effective internal team relationships
Candidate Profile
* Holds a City & Guilds / ILEX Level 1 or 2 Diploma for Legal Secretaries or equivalent qualification
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Minimum of one year’s experience in a similar legal or professional services environment
* Adaptable and willing to work flexibly to support team and client needs
* Organised, proactive, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining high standards
