Its an exciting time in Childrens Services in Sheffield. We are recruiting a Sheffield Parent Hub Team Leader; this is a full time 37 hours a week permanent post. Sheffield Parent Hub, is an established and dynamic service that delivers evidence-based programmes across the city.
Parents are the single most important factor in a childs well-being, achievements and future prospects. The post will support the ongoing development of parent support services in Sheffield.
The postholder will
* Supervise and support a staff team of Parenting Specialists
* Work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team
* Coordinate the work of the team to ensure support for families is received in a timely manor
* Interpret data and ensure quality service delivery to meet the needs of parents across the diverse communities within Sheffield.
* Contribute to and deliver workforce development of multiagency teams
The postholder will support the development of early intervention support for families in the Early Help workforce, actively promoting and supporting integrated working to improve outcomes for those children and young people considered to be vulnerable or to risk.
You will have a minimum of 2 years & experience working with families, be trained and have experience in delivering evidence-based parenting programmes, delivered workforce development and be passionate about parenting.
The models utilised in Sheffield are Triple P, Incredible Years or Empowering Parents Empowering Communities.
Interviews are to be held on the 11 and 12 August.
