What You'll Bring:
We’re looking for an Operational Resilience Risk Consultant to join our Risk and Compliance team. Reporting to the Head of Operational Risk and Resilience, this role involves developing, embedding, and managing the FCA Operational Resilience and DORA programs at TransUnion Europe.
Sitting in the Second Line Assurance function, the role provides expert advice and oversight to ensure effective management of Operational Resilience, complying with FCA regulations, DORA, and other standards. It involves engaging with resilience and regulatory stakeholders to improve operational resilience management and culture, aligned with our business strategy and risk appetite.
Day to Day Responsibilities:
* Own the delivery of parts of the TU Europe Operational Resilience program, ensuring compliance with FCA and DORA requirements.
* Drive the operational resilience change agenda and build relationships across the business to improve resilience and reduce operational risk.
* Collaborate with assurance teams (Compliance, Legal, Data Governance, Security, Operational Risk, Issue Management) for efficient assurance processes.
* Support stakeholders in completing quarterly global Business Continuity requirements.
* Develop assessment scenarios to evaluate the business’s recovery capabilities.
* Organize and perform testing of Operational Resilience plans, ensuring effectiveness.
* Maintain documentation of testing activities.
* Prepare reports and dashboards for governance committees.
* Assist in preparing documentation for regulators, clients, and auditors.
Essential Skills & Experience:
* Experience within Operational Resilience or Risk Management in an FCA regulated environment.
* Knowledge of UK financial services and FCA regulations, including DORA.
* Experience with operational resilience and DORA tools.
* Strong problem-solving, documentation, and presentation skills.
* Experience in preparing governance papers and presenting to committees.
* Excellent organizational, communication, and data analysis skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
* Flexibility to work outside core hours for incident response.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
* Knowledge of data management environments and data protection regulations.
