Job Description
What will you be doing?
We are looking for an experienced Senior Finance Analyst to join our Management Accounting team in Liverpool. Your role will be split between the Management accounts Revenue and Cost teams, giving you a broad knowledge of the business.
The revenue side of your role will focus on revenue reporting from client systems, reconciliations, and audit, whereas the cost side will involve month-end cost analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and monthly management reporting.
As a Senior Finance Analyst, your responsibilities will include:
* Liaising with heads of departments regarding their management accounts (reporting/analysis) and consolidating group management information for distribution to stakeholders.
* Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and analysing management accounts performance via monthly reporting.
* Working with other finance teams to seek efficiencies and ensure data accuracy.
* Extracting revenue data from source systems, reviewing, and posting revenue.
* Supporting audit cycles by updating reconciliations, creating files for auditors, and following up on documentation requests.
* Contributing to process improvements and participating in ad-hoc projects.
* Supporting and covering for team members as needed.
Qualifications
To be successful, you should:
* Be a qualified Accountant and member of ACCA/CIMA.
* Have significant experience with management accounts, month-end cycles, audits, and reconciliations.
* Possess excellent relationship management skills with senior stakeholders.
* Be capable of reviewing and improving processes.
